What does Schema Nerd do?

Schema Nerd helps you add complete Schema.org LocalBusiness markup to your WordPress site without writing JSON-LD by hand. Not just for one location, but for as many as you need. You enter your business details once, pick the schema options you want (including advanced and optional fields), and Schema Nerd outputs valid structured data in your site’s universal header.

Need reassurance it’s working? Schema Nerd includes a built-in validator that shows results from Google’s Schema Markup Validator, so you can confirm your markup is readable and spot issues quickly.

Schema Nerd is built for real websites, not toy examples. You can manage more than one location, keep your data organized in a single schema database, and update details without chasing down code snippets across themes and plugins.

Schema Nerds is also the umbrella brand for a growing lineup of schema tools. LocalBusiness is the first plugin, with additional schema plugins planned.

What makes Schema Nerd different?

Most “schema plugins” do one of two things: they generate a basic template, or they bury schema in a maze of SEO settings that were never designed for multi-location accuracy.

Schema Nerd is different because it treats schema like a first-class system, not an afterthought. You get:

  • Multiple locations, managed cleanly: Add more than one LocalBusiness schema and keep each location’s data structured and editable inside a central schema database.
  • Every LocalBusiness option available: From the essentials to advanced properties, you can build markup that fits your business instead of settling for a limited form.
  • Validator-first workflow: You can validate what you are publishing using Google’s Schema Markup Validator results inside WordPress.
  • A clear stance on conflicts: Schema Nerd is designed to be your primary source of LocalBusiness schema output, so you avoid duplicated markup across plugins.

Why Are Schema and Business Locations Important?

Search engines do not “read” your business pages the way people do. Schema provides a reliable structure for details such as your name, address, phone number, and hours, helping reduce ambiguity and improve consistency across all automatically generated listings, as well as improving how well your business shows up for relevant “near me” searches.

If your business has multiple locations, schema becomes even more important. Small mismatches, missing fields, or duplicated markup can make it harder for search engines to connect the right location to the right page and the right local intent.
