Schema Nerds WordPress Plugin.

Schema Nerds helps you implement Schema.org structured data in WordPress without hand-coding. The first Schema Nerds plugin focuses on LocalBusiness schema, with more schema plugins planned as the platform expands.

If you are a webmaster, developer, agency, or marketing team, Schema Nerds gives you a clean way to enter business details, output valid JSON-LD on your site, and validate what you publish using results from Google’s Schema Markup Validator.

What Schema Nerd does

Schema Nerd makes it easier to:

  • Build complete LocalBusiness schema, including advanced optional fields
  • Manage schema entries from a central schema database
  • Output JSON-LD automatically in your site’s universal header
  • Validate your schema using Google’s Schema Markup Validator results inside WordPress
  • Store schema settings in WordPress and back them up for restore workflows

Who Schema Nerd is for

Schema Nerd is designed for people who care about correctness and maintainability:

  • Independent webmasters and developers who want structured data done right, without brittle code snippets
  • Agencies managing multiple client sites and looking for a repeatable setup
  • In-house marketing teams that need schema changes to be practical, trackable, and easy to validate

How Schema Nerd works

1) Add your schema data in WordPress

You enter business details and schema fields in the Schema Nerd interface. This includes the full LocalBusiness field set, so you can keep your markup minimal or go deep with optional properties.

2) Schema is stored and managed in one place

Your schema configuration is stored in WordPress and also backed up to Schema Nerd servers for backup and restore purposes. If you ever revert your site or need to reapply settings, Schema Nerd helps you sync your schema configuration back into place.

3) Schema outputs in your universal header

The LocalBusiness plugin outputs JSON-LD sitewide through the universal header. This is useful for consistent LocalBusiness schema output during initial setup.

Per-page schema customization is planned for future Schema Nerd plugins, including FAQ, Organization, and additional schema types.

4) Validate using Google’s Schema Markup Validator results

Schema Nerd includes a validation tool that passes through results from Google’s Schema Markup Validator, so you can confirm validity and spot issues from inside your WordPress dashboard.

A note about conflicts and other schema plugins

Many SEO plugins, themes, and schema tools output structured data automatically. Running more than one schema-producing tool can result in duplicate or conflicting markup.

For best results, Schema Nerd should be your primary source of LocalBusiness schema output. If another plugin is generating LocalBusiness schema, consider disabling that output to avoid duplicates and inconsistent data.
